Dr. Helmut Love’s Six-Point Plan for Atlanta’s Future

Double our Revenues and Rise to be a World Class City

1. Strengthen Economy

Monetize an Influencer Consortium with a One Love Commercial Leader

Appoint a One Love Leader to build a consortium of diverse faith, finance, green, and humanitarian entrepreneurial influencers, Atlanta small businesses and corporations, Hollywood South investors, and Universities to build the world’s largest uplifting influencer economy.  Position Atlanta as the global thought and solution leader of the future.  Deepen our Fin-tech ties to Latin America and Africa.

Innovate Outcome-Driven Solutions with One Humanity and One Earth Leaders

Adopt an everything-is-solvable strategy, appointing a One Humanity Non-Profit & Education Leader and a One Earth Sustainability & Conservation Leader to streamline and coordinate services, develop city and private joint ventures in tech and AI, innovate efforts with the State, and attract Federal investment dollars —not simply increase taxes.

Leverage Planned and New Events as an Economic Growth Engine

Execute and Capitalize on 2026 FIFA World Cup, 2028 Super Bowl and Atlanta’s new Influencer Consortium to launch One Love, One Earth and One Humanity events, leveraging our World Class airport, including events for Sports and a “Filmed in Atlanta” festival to make Atlanta the global thought-and-solution leader of the AI Era

2. Protect People

Atlanta First: Graduate Hires, Manufacturing, Gaming, Animation, Tech Corridor

Ensure a pipeline for hiring graduates by local corporations to retain talent, and increase local patent assignments by local universities.  Firm up a stronger Tech Corridor of the South with biotech, fintech, green jobs, clean energy, and a climate focus.  Invest in workforce development for manufacturing training and incentivize animation and gaming in South Hollywood. Develop innovative learn-live-eat-work termed contracts for jobless citizens.  Deploy city-wide efforts in financial literacy and sponsored competitive entrepreneurship programs.

Revitalize Education with Freedom of Choice, New Curriculum and AI/Technology

Deploy literacy, financial literacy, and other AI joint-ventures to “teach all humans to fish, ” support spirituality-of-parental-choice curriculum in schools to ensure common all-human-loving values. Develop an AI and Entrepreneurial content curriculum. Incentivize teachers with outcome-based pay.  Promote freedom of choice with a “gleaning bonus” for all students in the lower 10% of annual state-reported income and those with disabilities.

Fast-Track Housing, Fractional ownership, Zoning. State Reform Push

Fast-track development of publicly owned housing projects to bring more housing online.  Incentivize fractional ownership technology solutions in Atlanta, continue efforts in zoning for mixed-use and multi-family in single-family neighborhoods, with bonuses for build-to-rent housing.  Work with the state to advance movement on rent control, just-cause eviction terms, and increasing the enforceability of Section 8 vouchers.  Leverage heal-live-eat work termed contracts for the homeless and mentally ill.

3. Restore Integrity

Increase Anti-Corruption Measures and empower the OIG

Install mandatory blind trusts for the Mayor and all City Council elected members, and reinstate an empowered Office of Inspector General to ensure the integrity of the city. Create city campaign spending limitations.  Push for standardization of state and federal campaign spending. Mandatory recusal policies and other measures standards in other world-leading countries, including AI tools to expose conflicts of interest.

Increase AI and Tech in Government and Re-Deploy Talent with NPUs

Appoint a Chief Technology Strategy Officer to bring AI and tech to the city and maximize human capital efficiency for citizens. Launch a Talent and Organization Structure audit with strong NPU feedback to optimize the city’s structure for citizen responsiveness and ensure resources are deployed equitably.

Department of Detailed Government Efficiency

Appoint a DODGE Leader and team to drive and enhance cost performance in infrastructure, personnel, and contracting at a detailed level. Efforts will include a forensic audit and clean up in city pensions, watershed, business licensing, and in contract assignment to ensure efficiency and the lack of favoritism in spending.

4. Solve Transportation

Combat Congestion immediately with a RideShare App

Create a joint venture with a city innovative ride-share application to ensure that car-pooling efforts are maximized across the region.

Keep Commitments, Rebrand/Expand MARTA for Support Explosive Growth

Complete the Beltline rail and the original east-side plan, saving millions.  Enroll the State in a world-class, north-south, state-wide rebranded MARTA strategy with local-station jurisdiction over inbound traffic controls to ensure local preferences for non-local resident traffic and pre-authorization mechanisms.  Use this strategy to run a “Come to Georgia” corporate attraction strategy, and develop work-live-play centers along new stops to encourage families to thrive and revitalized growth throughout the State.

Fix-our-Potholes and Infrastructure

Make the driveability of our local streets a high-visibility priority. Create opportunities for investors and corporations to sponsor the renaming and revitalization of our streets, thereby forever memorializing their names in support of our transition through this period of history. Evaluate Atlanta’s infrastructure health comprehensively and leverage new revenues and bond projects for infrastructure.

5. Bolster Health

Innovate Healthcare with Excellence

Accelerate a Morehouse teaching hospital and satellites to address care deserts with a focus on innovation in psychedelic research, increased doula corporation, and other non-traditional approaches to care.  Federal reform to standardize billing and increase tort reform to cap damages will reduce incredible costs in our American system.

Innovate a Mental Health Support Economy with our Senior Community

Create a joint-venture technology with the city to enlist qualified seniors in supporting mental health among citizens, training them in CBT, and enabling them to charge a nominal fee for our most vulnerable citizens to find affordable support and connection, as demonstrated in Zimbabwe’s “Friendship Bench” studies.

Address Food Insecurity with Tech, Partnership, and Local Farming

Install a gentle drying center to recirculate wasted food and accelerate an end to local hunger, expand co-op gardens, and create private food-chain partnerships to address food deserts. Collaborate with the State to promote diversified, Georgia-based seasonal agricultural production using sustainable practices to reduce costs.

6. Celebrate Unity

The City of One Love on One Earth for One Humanity

For such a time as this, Atlanta, The City too Busy to Hate, claims its leadership position—originating in the Civil Rights movement of Martin Luther King and the Carter Center.  We will come together in excellence, across race, gender, identity, politics, and class, to serve the world as a beacon of hope and to lead in the real-world solutions we innovate.  Atlanta will help America fulfill its divine manifest destiny and demonstrate that from our country’s deepest wound will come our greatest strength.

A Time of Awakening to One Love with a seven-colored Rainbow Flag

Awakening begins with you as a citizen. Atlanta hosts a diversity of spiritual paths — from Southern Baptists, Jews, Muslims, and Hindus to Wiccans, psychedelic healers, kirtan gatherings, LGBT communities and science-as-faith innovators. We will encourage a unified sense of purpose, responsibility, morality and wealth sharing in our future ahead.

Loving Respect for Government Employees, Civil Servants, and Veterans

Atlanta will love and respect all members of our government. We cherish our police, firefighters, teachers, postal workers, veterans, and all who serve our citizenry. We honor their sacrifices and commit that no matter how hard our economy, we will love and respect their service, and thereby respect our own dignity.
